Biography

I began my professional career at age 15 and today have over 30 years experience. My career has been an eclectic and exciting one entertaining at more than 500 events ranging from private weddings to major corporate events including a concert with Doc Severinsen (trumpeter and music director of the Johnny Carson Band on The Tonight Show).

While I play a wide variety of music, my background is in classical music, gospel and light jazz. I received my formal training in Music Performance and Education at the Lower Columbia College as well as from University of Washington where I received numerous awards for my performances. In the late 1980s I was honored as "Woman of the Year" by Beta Sigma Phi.

I maintain professional affiliations with the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce and the Music Teacher Association where I serve as Treasurer. I have been featured in many local publications including The Columbian, Longview Daily News, Vancouver Business Journal, and LaCamas Life Magazine.

I currently live in Vancouver, Washington and have three grown daughters, four grand children, and “Cici” a Bichon Frise pet dog. My interests include gardening, reading, bowling, walking, and family barbeques.
